Cristina

Patient Appointment Coordinator

Cristina, who is affectionately known to us as Cristy, was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She currently lives in Lula, Georgia, however she frequently visits her family in Chicago.

Cristy began her employment with Hulsey dentistry in 2017. She is typically the first friendly face you will see when you come in for your appointment. Her other duties include answering the phone, scheduling appointments and account inquiries. She will be happy to answer any questions that you might have about our office. Cristy is an invaluable member of our staff because of her bilingual skills. In her time off from work Cristy enjoys shopping, traveling, bowling with friends, or going out to a dinner and movie with her husband Roger.

Jennifer

Patient Care Coordinator

Jennifer was born and raised in the small town of Comer, Georgia. She is a graduate from Gainesville State College and began her dental career in 2002. Her previous dental work experience includes both general dentistry and orthodontics, focusing primarily on patient care and dental insurance. Jennifer has loved working with our team at Hulsey Dentistry since October 2014. Her problem-solving ability and quick thinking help make our day go smoothly and efficiently. She is always approachable in answering questions regarding treatment plans and financing options. Jennifer also provides a wealth of knowledge in all insurance related matters for which our patients are very grateful.

She and her husband Trent have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Madison and Mallory. They are active members of Christ Place Church. She is a loyal Clemson Football fan and in her spare time you can find her scrapbooking, reading or planning a trip to Walt Disney World.

Anna Kate

Dental Assistant

Anna Kate was born and raised in Gainesville, GA. She is a graduate of North Hall High School and earned a diploma in Dental Assisting from Lanier Technical College in August of 2014. Shortly after that, she was hired at Hulsey Dentistry in October 2014. Anna Kate really enjoys helping all of our patients clinically and comforting them during the more difficult dental appointments. Also, she loves to chat and get to know everyone on a personal level.

Anna Kate married her husband Nic in 2020 and together they welcomed their daughter Lucy Michael in 2022. She enjoys hanging out with her family on the farm where they live. Some of her other hobbies include cooking, traveling and working out. However, spending time with her family and friends is by far her favorite thing to do.

Taylor

Dental Assistant

Taylor was born and raised in Gainesville, GA and is a graduate of North Hall High School. She began her dental assisting career in January 2020, working for several dentists in the Atlanta area, before joining the Hulsey Dentistry team in March 2021. Later that same year, she graduated from Lanier Technical College with a Business Management Degree as well as completing the Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Course. Taylor loves getting to interact with our patients and she goes over and beyond to make sure each patient has a great dental experience. She is always happy to explain and help our patients understand treatment recommendations and options.

Taylor married her husband Tyler in June 2020 and loves spending time with him and their Boykin Spaniel named Kimber. When not in the office, you can find her reading, taking Kimber on the lake or to the beach.

Cara

Registered Dental Hygienist

Cara is a 2012 graduate of the Lanier Technical College Dental Hygiene Program.

Cara has been a patient of Hulsey Dentistry since 2015. After many years of working in pediatric dentistry, Cara joined the Hulsey Dentistry team in 2020. Having worked in pediatric dentistry, Cara is an expert at making patients of all ages feel comfortable during their dental visits. Cara is both an energetic and encouraging hygienist who loves to help patients reach their oral hygiene goals.

Cara was born and raised in Banks County, GA on her family farm. Cara married her husband Andrew in 2013 and together they welcomed their daughter Lyla in 2016 and son Grant in 2022. Cara and her family are active members at Charity Baptist Church in Homer, GA where Andrew serves as the Worship Pastor.
When Cara is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, UGA football, trips to Disney, Dollywood, and any gathering where there is good food!

Carrie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Carrie has worked in the dental field for over 17 years and enjoys her life in dentistry. Before completing her dental hygiene degree she worked as a dental assistant and office manager. She graduated from the Lanier Technical College Dental Hygiene Program in 2012. Carrie treats her patients like they are members of her family and is experienced at calming our more nervous patients. She is very passionate about her work and encourages her patients to work hard to improve their oral health.

Carrie grew up in Gainesville and graduated from East Hall High School. She married her husband David in 2001. They are proud parents of four boys: Mark, Joshua, Luke, and Micah. Carrie is an active member of Christ Place Church. With four boys Carrie does not have free time, but does try to squeeze in running with friends, and a bit of reading.

Melissa

Registered Dental Hygienist

Melissa was born in Atlanta but grew up in Comer, Ga for most of her life. She graduated with honors in 1996 from Lanier Technical College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Her career began in Marietta, GA where she worked full-time until she had her first child. Melissa joined the Hulsey Dentistry team in 2016 on a part-time basis. She is a blessing to our practice and she loves treating our patients.

Melissa and her husband, Thunder, have been married since 1997 and have two boys, Zachary and Will. They are active members of Christ Place Church. When she is not working she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening and traveling.
